LESCO Jobs 2026
MIRAD Department — Lahore
LESCO Jobs 2026 are officially announced — the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), one of Pakistan’s largest power distribution companies serving over 4.2 million consumers across Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib Districts, has launched a strategic recruitment drive for its Market Implementation and Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD). This is not a routine government recruitment — it is a high-impact, targeted hiring exercise to build LESCO’s core team for the Competitive Trading Bilateral Contract Market (CTBCM), Pakistan’s landmark shift towards a deregulated electricity market.
The LESCO Jobs 2026 MIRAD advertisement (Notification #268/2025-26) offers 4 contractual posts — Manager Legal & Regulatory, Deputy Manager Legal & Contracts, Assistant Manager Transmission Planning, and Assistant Manager Demand Forecasting. Unlike traditional BPS-based government jobs, these roles carry a market-based lump sum salary package — placing them among the most lucrative contract positions in Pakistan’s public energy sector in 2026. The employment will be on an open contract basis with a 6-month probation period and will not be converted to permanent posts.
LESCO sits under WAPDA and the Government of Pakistan and is the distribution company at the frontline of Pakistan’s energy transition. Professionals selected for these LESCO Jobs 2026 will work at the intersection of power sector law, bilateral contracts, transmission planning, and electricity demand forecasting — gaining unrivalled experience in a sector being reshaped by CTBCM reform. Applications close on 30 April 2026 and require dual submission: online at lesco.gov.pk and by courier to 22-A Queens Road, Lahore.
