Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission in TEVTA institutes must fulfill the following eligibility requirements depending on the program they wish to enroll in.
- For the Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE), candidates must have passed Matric (Secondary School Certificate) with science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 45 percent marks from a recognized board.
- For most vocational and certificate-level courses, a minimum of eighth grade or Matric pass is required.
- Short courses under skill development may have more relaxed academic requirements and are sometimes open to candidates who can read and write basic Urdu or English.
- Female candidates are especially encouraged to apply for home economics, garment making, beautician, and other women-focused programs offered at dedicated female institutes across Punjab.
